What size home battery do I need?

For grid-tied self-consumption, size to about 60% of your daily use. Off-grid, size to 1.5x your net daily use after solar. The calculator above maps the result to a concrete NovaBESS model.

How long does a home battery take to pay back?

Typically 6–12 years depending on peak/off-peak spread and cycles/day. Higher rate gaps and daily arbitrage shorten payback.

Do I need solar to use a home battery?
